When I was pregnant with my last child I got so sick. I had morning sickness all through the fall. One day when I was really sick I decided to get out my fall decor. The brown leaves and orange pumpkins didn’t make me feel better. In fact, for next month I felt so awful and I kept thinking if I could just get to Christmas I’d feel better. The next year I got out my fall decor and felt the icky feeling again, It made me sick to look at it all so I got rid of it and didn’t decorate for fall for a few years. So when I did start to decorate for the fall it was in more muted colors. I do love all my white pumpkins. That was a long intro to my 10 darling table settings for your Thanksgiving printables day buffet. How am I going to choose?
I know it’s not like me to do a traditional dark brown Thanksgiving table setting but Its made more modern by the sweetest printable from Love the day Pie box printable I fell in love with this darling printable and knew it would look absolutely adorable with Sophistaplates Fall collection, But if you are not in the mood to use paper plates for a formal dinner Then pull out your Grandmas China or whatever wedding china you have and just add a few of these cute printables. However, with that being said I’m having lots of people over in fact I’m hosting two separate Turkey dinners so I need all the paper plates I can incorporate into my day. LOL, ps Lindi has more darling printables over on her blog love that day!
I love black and white it is one of my favorite modern looks for a tablescape. I found lots of fun printables to use for this modern table setting. the first one is from Bloom designs the gobble it up printable comes on an 8×10 page with 6 squares of cuteness. The second printable Happy Thanksgiving was the cute printable I designed last year find it HERE. I wanted the cute favor to be square and clear. I found the best website Clear bags.com yes they have clear little bags but they also have all the sizes of boxes you will ever need! doesn’t it look so cute? They are also giving my readers a code GLITZYPEAR to get 10% off their purchase I used my black and strip ribbon from Target and just tied it all up. The placemat is from Paper Crush the plates are from Sophistiplates , my grandmother, and IKEA It’s ok to mix and match you know, The only rule is that the colors must work together and not fight with the other colors on the table.
I love giving little gifts to the gusts and these little bitty weck jars from The Container Store arent they just the cutest thing! I used Pizzazzerie thanksgiving day printables and resized it to a 2 inch circle and pop dotted it to the top of a weck jar from Container store full of jam. The guest can use this jam on their rolls or take it home for the leftovers. I loved using wrapping paper from The Container Store for the placemats then I used my Grandmas china under the darling polka dot plates from Sophistiplates and a cute pink salad plate from Ikea.
Yup more white, I just love white its so refreshing and looks amazing with anything you pair it with. Here I have the cutest placemat from Hester & Cook I love the confetti look! This would also work for Christmas and New Years! I layered on a gold charger from Sophistiplates and a white salad plate from them as well. I think if I used this table setting I would use my grandma white salad plates, but I couldn’t resist the cuteness of the ruffled edges. The fun gold take away container is from The Container Store and the cute label is actually meant to be pumpkin tattoos. How cute would that be? but seeing as this is for a dinner table large scale pumpkins didn’t quite fit the bill! LOL you can find this label on labels onlinelabels.com
This place setting is just set on my white tablecloth no placemats or chargers. I used my beautiful white everyday dishes from Crate and Barrel, I placed a Sophistiplate taupe salad plate and brown bowl on top. Then added the tiniest of clear boxes from Clear bags. on top of the brown bread plate. Inside is a yummy truffle! I used a sweet little printable from ms craft berry bush I love her look, I wish I could watercolor like her, she has the sweetest printables most for free on her blog. You will thank me later I promise.
Don’t be afraid to mix your metals! I have a thin silver rim around my grandmas’ china and I’m using my new gold flatware from Target. Again wrapping paper for the placemat which I just can’t get enough of and this little bird Christmas tag from Container Store. I just tied it to a white pumpkin with whatever colors of ribbon will go well with your table. This was the easiest on to do no printing no cutting just tie it on and done!
How am I going to choose what Table setting I’m going to have? I love these oak placemats from Hester & Cook, I’ve been using their paper placemats for years and I love them so much. They always have a cute theme to go with whatever you are creating. one of my favorite things to have at a dinner is individual salt and pepper shakers and these little white ones from KateAspen are my favorite. My sister has my Ganny’s turkey salt and pepper shakers so I had to find a new cute tradition of my own. I also love how my china goes so well with the modern look. The little place setting cards are pinecone Christmas tags from the Container store, guys sometimes you really have to think outside the box!
I never thought I would regret making my hubby throw away all his antlers when we were first married. I’ve been kinda obsessed with them for the last few years. I love that I can use my everyday dishes (I just gave them away to my niece ooops !) and mix them with special elements to raise the level of my Holiday entertaining! I love the wrapping paper from the Container store again along with an ornament I used as the napkin tie. And hello, that dear tag that I tied to my oui by Yoplay yogurt jar, come on its so cute! I just couldn’t throw my glass yogurt containers away they are so cute so I repurposed them for a free little takeaway!
This is the only Tablesetting that was truly Brown orange and creams the most defining Thanksgiving day colors. not that I don’t like those colors it just doesn’t quite go with my house or my dining room. But I’m in love with this pumpkin placemat from Hester & Cook, don’t you think this is just charming? I’m also loving the oui yogurt jar that I used again as my table favors. It is quite simple to do and I might do a step by step on the blog so keep your eyes peeled. The printable on top is from on Sutton Place blog. This Table setting is simple and easy with just a few additional plates that add just a pop of color and fun to the day.
Ok, this is for all the Grandmas that want to give a little gift to their kids and grandkids. I found these darling white boxes a few months ago at the Container Store and have loved putting my rings, paper clips, and my extra cash in them. They look so cute on my desk! Wouldn’t it be cute to give one as a little gift at your holiday table? I just used my regular white dinner plates from Create and barrel with my everyday silverware but the extra cuteness comes from the cute paper salad plates and the printable from topping the box. The cute printable is from the blog Tabler Party of two and it adds just enough color to my monochromatic table-setting.
some of these products were sponsored but all photographs and opinions are mine Happy Happy Thanksgiving!
