How to decoupage a chicken does that sound weird?
I told my Taylor to go get the camera and he snapped a picture of me without my knowledge, I have to say I need to work on my double chin when I get a chance!!!
I have one million things to do before we leave for our vacation and this is what I’m doing??!!?? My house looks like a bomb went off but hey lets paint the piano (more on that later) and decoupage a chicken…
This is a roster that was given to me from my mama, it was black and made of metal, then it went hammered silver and now its book paper. I will cover it in darling green fabric when I find the right one, but for now this will do.
- get an old book and rip it up, my kids loved doing this for me.
- cover an area of the chicken with Mod-Podge and sitck the paper to the chicken.
- Then run your mod-podge fingers over the paper to seal it.
- once it dries (and i do the back) seal it with a polly spray if you want to make it glossy and your done. That’s it, my cute Pottery Barn knock off.
Sad thing is (like a lot of my other projects) I only got the front done the back will have to wait till we get back from the beach!!!
