Wow what a party! we have been waiting for this shower for 15 years!!! B will finally bring home her baby in two weeks, can’t wait to see the the sweet thing.
B wanted a book shower, and had all the guest bring their favorite children’s book. We then had the guest put a little note on a book plate to put in their book Darling!!!
First the food.. it was amazing Lisa is a wizard in the kitchen!!!She made these darling little lasagnas that were so Divine. Focacia bread, salad and fruit with a coconut dip about made me giddy!!!
These darling glasses were done by tying my hand dyed ribbon, tulle, and book paper in a sweet bow on my masson jars with a handle, so easy and cute!
The dessert bar was the sweetest spot in the house. everything was home made except the Granite bakery cookies which are divine!! We had chocolate moose lemon tarts and eton mess (those were my contributions) cream burle and chocolate popcorn in cones and peanut butter cups. I’m salivating right now!!!
Those book paper chandeliers were my fav. part!!! I made them out of children’s books that i folded and dressed up (tutorial coming soon) you can’t see the banner but it says “A Spoon full of Sugar” so dang sweet!
This is the entry way where we had the take away gift. homemade gummies in the shape of carriages. I feel bad I didn’t get a photo of my cute tag on the bag. The fact that i have friends who make home made gummies…. its something to shout about!
The welcome BABY LOVE wreath on the door, it was glittery and fluffy and just set the tone of the wonder night we had with friend foods and fun!
