New York in the spring

Hello New York skyline.  My friend Ash said make sure we look up and so we did amazing!!!

D&D building 14 floors of designer goodness!!!

I love to travel and I love going to New York every year To see my sister and to shop in New York City. But this year my sis had a baby and I knew shopping in the city was out this time a round, so when my dear friend B invited me to go to about 75 design stores ok more like a 100!!! I jumped at the chance to shop material, ribbon, trim, decor, both high end and artistic and even one china town store :).

My favorite part is my dream store and I do mean dream store. I read a book about the beginnings of this store how it dame to be where they found there treasures (Paris) and have dreamt about going to see it ever since.

So when B said do I want to go I almost cried!!! I truly could have stayed in that little jewel box of a store for days, or moved in for that matter. But instead I bought antique spools of thread and ribbon little buttons and lots of ideas for projects!

Thanks B for making my dreams come true and for all the other little treats you showed us, like the linen wholesalers where I bought 10 yards of heavy weight linen for my couch redo ( more on that later) and 6floors of heaven in ABC home store my new favorite store!!!! and don’t get started on the food Lady M’s cakes hello still craving it!!!!
