flower power

 Here is my little tutorial on coffee filter flowers, there are only about a thousand and I out there in blog world but this is mine!!  this is a half flower that i did on the bottom of my book chandelier  this is soooooo easy.  start by gluing the top of a ribbon spool (you know the cardboard thing that you have when your beautiful ribbon is gone)? 

 You take hand dyed coffee filters which have that beautiful variegated look and pinch them in the middle and glue to the base.  Do that about 10 times and you have a flower.

 I told you it was easy!  now if you want to sass it up add ribbon and a lot of it!  maybe a crystal or two. Or if you are using it as a flower little wires with beads on the tips look like the center of flowers.  if you just want a puff to hang with out a chandelier then glue two of these baby’s together and bam a beautiful little puff. 

 now hang and enjoy your little flowers where ever you want to bring happiness to all!
