these poor bar stools have been recovered a million times. Ok not a million but four times just look at the staples!!! I loved the summery green Tommy Bahama print I had on my bar stools for the past two years but it was time for a change.
When we moved a few months ago I painted the island turquoise, because I new we were replacing it as soon as we could, and I love that color right now. Its easy to do crazy things when you know it wont be permanent. I loved my apple green Kitchen I had in the old house, and I will miss it, but it was time for something new. I could have left the green but I wanted the stools to be wipe-able, and that outdoor fabric was not!
I found the perfect faux leather in a gun metal gray that would be a great neutral background till we decided what to do with our kitchen. Its so easy to change the look of your bar stools.
1. unscrew the bottom of the seat from the legs
2. take off the offending material
3. staple gun the new fabric leather or linen of your choice. (use a heavy duty staple gun)
4. screw the seat back onto the base. Done!!!
