sock monkeys and their hats

 Studio 5’s segment was a little bit harder than normal.  I’m  use to paper crafts, parties and craft projects.  I was challenged to take on a pintrest pin so i did!  A sewing project, and as some of you know I’m not a big fan of sewing.  Oh I can sew a straight line maybe a pillow if I feel ambitious, but I don’t love to do it.  I found doing these little guys was not as hard as thought and maybe if I had to do a hundred I could get a bit faster at sewing these guys up.  but it took me about 2-3 hours each, not really a fast project.  However you can buy the sock monkeys for 20$ and make them for 2$  so the money saved was great!

 Like my last post you will need to swing over to the craftpassion for instructions.  I just wanted to show you a close up of the party hat.  Now that I can do.  I love my glue gun! Just roll  your hat into a cone to fit who’s ever head its going on. LOL  and hot glue festooning ribbons and a pom to the top.  Nothing could be easier than that!
