wow can you believe that Bry’s parents have been married 50 years? It’s amazing and somewhat a miracle in this day and age. I was so honored to decorate for this occasion. I just loved how vintage and gold and dreamy it was. This is what I did.
Those are coffee filter flowers on gold fern picks that we wired to there wedding arch, along with some giant glittered hearts.
These little beauties were hanging on a gold nail on the boxes we used as the center pieces on each table, they were so “charming”!
My cute wonderful talented husband made these boxes one Saturday I stained and stenciled them and then tucked in a mum, and pick. (my mother-in-laws wedding flowers).
This is a close up of the darling Ikea spray painted frames. I attached a little broach to each frame.
The 50 is just those wooden numbers from the craft store and my darling friend Tiffany glittered them up. All I had to do was add a bow and watch them shine!
Aren’t they the cutest? My niece recreated their wedding cake and got the exact candle sticks off of eBay. How fun is that, I couldn’t however find the spiral candles in time.
Her wedding dress, pillow cases and linens from her hope chest were all displayed. Its so fun to see how much the times have changed, and yet all that vintage goodness is coming back in vogue I so want those pillow cases, hint hint.
All the boy grand kids, gathered around their wedding arch, what a sweet memory they will have of their grandparents.
The buffet table was backed by 11×14 photos of them taken earlier this year. I so wish I had the help that was promised I could have hung the lace drapes along the wall owell I don’t think anybody noticed but me.
Book paper wreaths flanked the doors on both sides of the room.
Let the story continue and may they have many more chapters to come.
