glittered skulls? sure why not

 Ya gotta love the dollar store.  I promised myself that I wasn’t going to buy any deco this year, because I need to save up for an island for my kitchen.  But a quick trip to the dollar store and 10$ later I had the cutest decorations.  Here is how I did it.

 This little dowel was swiped from a lolly that was past its prime.  I didn’t want to paint it black. I did not have time for that today so I just wrapped it in duck tape.  lay the dowel on one side and roll to the other side. I mean come on how cute and easy!

 Next hot glue the dowel inside the skull by poking it through the Styrofoam.

Next I made some lolly’s and glued them around the dowel.  along with some festooning (crepe paper fringe) 

Then I made a messy bow-hat for the top of my little gal and burned my fingers with the hot glue,  Be Careful!!!

And your done.  This is so much cuter in real life. I wish we could all have happy skulls tucked into your Halloween vignettes.
