House tour

Yikes!  its always scary to try new things.  With wedding season slowing down for me, I want to focus on creating a fun relaxing home.  We have been in this house for almost 3 years, and its been a long long ride! 

I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting to make our house fit our life style, right?  But gosh it takes a lot of time and a lot of money.  We have been moving very slow but so far haven’t put a dime on the credit card.  With that said I have sacrificed having my master bathroom torn up for almost a year!  Still not done and will not be on a House tour for a while LOL

I love this little corner of my house. Its right by a window and the (unfinished) fireplace.  Its the most comfy chair in the house and I have a view of my kitchen and back door so I can see who is coming and going. 

I think my Hubby sits there more than I do to work on the computer and talk.  Bless him for loving white and what ever accent color of the season is!!  what a great sport.

 Make at least one little corner of your house yours!!  Your favorite colors, accessories, pillows, then add great lighting and your ready for a few min of relaxation!

 This cute light is from Ikea  the bookends and  glass box are from Target, but what makes this corner fun and mine are the books covered in wrapping paper!

 I loved these colors for summer but now that its getting cooler I want to change my colors a bit.  I will  just get out the wrapping paper and change my book covers.   Some times it might seem like a lot of work for something so simple but those simple things make me happy.
