Mothers days cards
I use to be so on the ball and I would make all my mothers day cards from scratch. I would get out the card-stock, stamps, ribbons and glue. I no longer have the time for making fabulous cards, and yet I still have that desire to make them pretty and extra special, so this is what I did this year. 
I found the cutest mother day cards from Heidi Swapp, she does the most amazing things, and I just love her style. These mothers day cards were so fresh and the colors so darling you don’t have to do a thing with them, if you don’t want too. But just like Heidi I love making pretty things and I love adding my touch to things that I love. So this is what I did.
Things you will need
It’s pretty much a no brainer, just measure enough ribbon to go around the card and can be tied at the top in a knot. I loved to combine two colors of ribbon. On this card I did add a strip of velvet ribbon to the edge of the card just to make it more lush. I used double stick tape to attach the edge ribbon. On the inside I did use some darling back and white striped washi tape to hold the ribbon in place.
