Farmhouse printables for you Laundry room

I’m loving the farmhouse style that I’m seeing all over thanks to fixer upper!  Gains you really know how to rock the farmhouse look.  My style is a mishmash of whatever I think is cute at the time so I thought why not I’m going to make some cute signs for my washroom which in is desperate need of something!! off to Pinterest I went to find some cute farmhouse printables to frame for my modern laundry room. I didn’t know if I would be able to mix this trendy style with my crazy colorful laundry but I thought I’d give it a good college try.

Guy’s this is almost too embarrassing to share with you,  this might be the easiest craft project ever.  I know I say that a lot but guys you will be surprised at the impact you can get with a simple little printable and a glue gun!  And College be darned this is Kindergarten work.

Here are a few of the farmhouse printables I found on Pinterest that I thought were just darling!  I found these cute printables on Saved by love website I immediately printed them out and knew exactly how I was going to use them.  I wanted to use some bakers twine and little black office clips to hang them from my blank wall in my Laundry.  Hum, the look was cute but the color just wasn’t what I wanted it to look like. Darn, I was so sad.  So, I did a little research and found out that she had found the old fashion pictures from the Graphics Fairy website so I decided to make my own that would fit my style a bit better.  

Here is my version of a farmhouse printable that I made from those cute vintage photos.  I’ve saved them as a Jpeg so you can just click on them and save them to your files.  Then you too can print out a cute little farmhouse sign for your laundry room too. I took the graphics and made them more chunky to look a little more modern and changed the font of the words to fit my style.  It was super easy in photoshop but I’ve done it for you sooooo.  Your welcome.   I think the white background was more my style and looked a bit more modern but still brought the cute farmhouse look to my laundry.  I’m in love with this look. I also found these darling quilted printables from The Mountain View Cottage  I just love her fresh style and love of light and bright things!  

The Magnolia silo was selling a version of this printable made up in a sign for 75$  but i made my version of it, and  you can print this out for free and frame it up for your laundry or just mount it onto a pieced of foam board and glue on pieces of stained lathing strips like I was going to do.  I still might do this for the other side of m laundry room. If I do I’ll be sure to show you how cute it is but for now, the printable is still sitting in my office waiting for me to do something with it!  But guys its free you don’t have a pay me a thing! wink

I also made this little sign to fit the 10×10 frames I just loved this saying and thought it was appropriate of a mom with three boys living at home! 
And now to show you the embarrassing easy part of the printable makeover.  Yup hot glue it to the back of your frame.  You can purchase frames HERE $29 for a 4 pack, or if you have a handy hubby like me I had him make mine out of 2$ strips of wood from Home Depot.  He just cut out 2  10 1/2 in pieces and 2  10-inch pieces of wood and then did a little brad nail to each side.  no mitering the corners were involved!  The gray stain is just called Minwax  classic gray

Glue the printable to the back and you have a cute shadow box look frame for 2$ and a few kisses to your hubby.  ps,  Home Depot will cut  wood lathing for you and as long as you know your exact measurements then you never need to buy a saw!!
