Sometime you just have to live outside of the box. I loved this modern take on my Thanksgiving table. I’ve done many tables in the past if you want to check them out MODERN THANKSGIVING COLORS & 10 DARLING PRINTABLES FOR YOUR THANKSGIVING TABLE For this table I wanted to use hot colors and pretend I was back in Hawaii. The sweetest thing about this table is the paper cornucopias. I just loved making them and stuffing them full of candy. Here’s the step by step on how to make paper cornucopias.
print out the pattern so that you will have a guideline. You can resize it if you want to make the paper cornucopia bigger or smaller. This size was perfect to set beside the dinner plate and fill with candy.
trace the pattern onto double sided paper so that when you fold the paper over it will be contrasting. As you see i don’t have double sided paper and that’s fine too,
if you are using single sided paper cut the top of the paper cornucopia so that you have two pieces. This darling paper is from Anna Griffin and i found it on Amazon.
Turn over all your paper cornucopia pieces and make a cute color combination. Supper easy if you buy coordinating paper like Anna Griffins paper packs,
You can hot glue your pieces together but i just used double sided tape.
Put double sided tape to on the edge of the paper cornucopia and roll into a cone. Seriously that’s it supper easy and so stinking cute! I made a ton for the kids but I’m pretty sure the adults will be wanting one too, depending on what kind of candy you fill it with. HAPPY THANKSGIVING MY SWEETS!
