Wire bunny ears, Easter craft for kids

This little wire bunny ear egg craft was so fun to do.  You probably have all the thing you need to make wire bunny ears, and it is supper customisable to different childrens ideas. Let me show you how to make these easy and adorable easter bunny ears for your easter eggs.

What you Need

1. gold wire, silver wire, thick black wire 
2. glue gun
3. small flowers or beads
4. thin sharpie
5. blown eggs, wood eggs, white plastic eggs, or hard boiled

I used supper thin 12 gauge gold wire for this egg.  I used some small pliers to hold the slippery wire and bent the wire into the shape i wanted.  It was easier to pinch a sharp pointed ear then fuff out later than it was to keep it round.

After you get the wire bunny ears all twisted together, you can create a round hoop with the rest of the wire.  It doesn’t matter how much wire you have keep wrapping around each other until you have the small hoop.

after you have the right size and even if you don’t you can fix it when you hot glue these wire bunny ears to your egg.  As you can see with mine I wanted my wire bunny ears to sit higher on the egg so I just created a little loop then hot glued. Don’t forget the front of the egg, hot glue little flowers to the front of the wire bunny ears.

Now is the fun part, using a sharpie to draw little faces on your eggs.  With just a few dots your little bunny eggs are ready to sit at your easter table.
