How to make a Macrame covered water pitcher

What you need for macrame covered water pitcher
Water craft I found mine on Amazon
Bleached twine again Amazon for the win but also Walmart
A few minutes
- Start with a tall water pitcher bottle
- Measure a piece of twine to go around the top of the macrame covered water pitcher leave it pretty lose you will have to thread lots of strings through it.
- Then measure out bleached twine that is twice as long as the bottle the add a few more inches for good measure. Then double that and that’s your first string.
- Cut as many strings as you want to go around your water craft. The more you have the thicker the pattern. The less you have the lacier the pattern. (10 )
- fold the twine in half and slip knot it to the top, just like you would tying a string on a tag.
6. Pick up 4 pieces of twine and tie a square knot about a half an inch below the top. Leave two pieces of string hanging down the middle.
7. Then start the macrame covered water pitcher by tying square knots, around the hanging pieces right over left then left over right.
8. Do that for all the strings around the bottle
9. The second round of the macrame bottle will be done the same way, only your going to offset them using the middle strings as the outside strings.
This makes a diamond pattern when your done
Once you get close to the bottom you’ll want to stretch the end pieces around the bottom of the macrame bottle and hot glue.
Make sure your pulling them so that the top part is even.
