As a professional organizer, I love to keep things paired down to exactly what I need. Having a water filter was non-negotiable for me when I moved into this house. The problem was is I needed under-the-sink storage for so many things and our current water filter from Express Water Filter just seemed too big. I found this new Express water filter that is tankless from the same company! I cannot believe how little space it uses now I can be organized and have clean filtered water. I’m beyond excited to get my early Christmas gift!
First
Let me tell you why I chose Express Water’s Alkaline Water Filter. It has this Active Mineral Technology, which enriches your water by infusing it with essential minerals like Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, and more. I swear everyone is telling me to take more magnesium and now I can get it in my water how cool is that? Ok don’t come at me, I know I still need to take my vitamins too lol.
The Efficiency is amazing with a rapid 0.4GPM water flow, ensuring you have clean, refreshing water on demand, without the wait!! This was a big selling point because our fridge water is so slow coming out! But the filtered water fills up my Stanley super fast. You can even run a line to your fridge to get filtered cold water. If you do your ice cubes will be super clear as well. just a fun fact
Second
Let’s talk installation, Our first water filter had to be installed by a professional then we got an express water filter and put it in ourselves. Our first Xpress water filter had a tank which was taking up too much room for my taste. (see above photos)
However, it still does such a great job we are putting in our basement kitchen. But I need more storage upstairs so that’s why we decided to go with this tankless option. I wanted the sleek look and more storage it was a perfect upgrade.
One little tip on the installation the Express water filter needs a plug our other one did not. we had to drill a hole in the cabinet to the dishwasher plug. The disposal plug only works when the disposal is on LOL
Third
Maintenance: another reason why we wanted this tankless option was it was so easy to maintain. It was a bit tricky to change out our older filters but now it’s easy With a 2-second quick-twist tankless RO system, filter replacements are a breeze, keeping your water consistently pure.
I was also excited that it came with a built-in filter life and water quality indicators. So now we always know when it’s time for a filter change. I know it’s almost too easy.
Now my under sink cabinets have enough room to hold our recycling all the things we need to keep our kitchen clean and organized AND we get a water filter as well. It’s a win-win for sure.
