last minute Halloween ideas for room mom’s, busy mom’s or Mimi’s

I was challenged from Studio5 (See the show HERE) to create some last minute Halloween ideas for busy mom’s! so here are a few that only took me a few minutes to create. Fun Easy and Fast is my go to lately.

Idea 1: Set the Table

Lets face it we all need to eat dinner so why not set the table with your extra Halloween decor and have fun eating at the table all month? Here are a few things to make your table pop

1. Witches hats: these are supper cheap from amazon and perfect to hang or in my case set up down our table! They are kinda floppy so I stuffed some with batting. Didn’t have enough to do all the hats so used a dowel to make sure it stood up straight. putting a pumpkin on the brim also helped to keep it up right.
2. spider web placemat is from Lemon drops and Lilies she has so many cute things for the holiday’s use code GLITY for 20% off her store.
3. The cute paper products are from My Minds Eye and love all the holiday things they have! from sweet to scarry from vintage to modern this company is so delightful for Holiday décor.

Idea #2 Easy kid craft

this craft is supper easy it just requires a clear cup a sharpie OR dry erase marker if you don’t want your kinder garter to have a black sharpie LOL , a white napkin for ghost or orange napkin for pumpkin and some treats.

1. have your child draw a ghost face or pumpkin face with a marker. see above for how darling you are.
2. stuff with an open napkin
3. add treats or for older kids a gift card

Idea #3 witches brooms

This idea would be fun for a Halloween party! maybe not a last minute Halloween idea but this broom would be darling on a treat charcuterie board! and then you could divide out the donuts so the kids wouldn’t fight over the last one. Or just have donuts for your treat after they made their brooms.

1. 12 inch dowels from Amazon HERE
2. raffia also found on Amazon HERE but can be found at a craft store as well.
3. brown wire also the cheapest at Walmart
4. cute ribbon to make it cute
5. powdered donuts from Walmart or any store these are the cheapest

cut the raffia to the length you want I did them around 6 inches. Bunch them in a group with the dowel in the middle and wire together. make a cute bow add a sticker done! great thing about this craft is kids can do this in around 5-10 minuets making it great for a class project.
