I saw this Twinkie bunny car on Instagram and knew I would figure out how to make it! Ultimately, it was pretty easy, and even my cute son Tanner, who has Down Syndrome, had a blast making them.
Twinkies
Bunny Peeps
M&M’s for the lights in the front of the car
Yogurt-Covered Pretzels for the steering wheels
Mini Oreos for the wheels, and
White Frosting to make it all stick.
Start by cutting a place for the bunny to sit in the Twinkie bunny car with a butter knife.
Save the extra fluff from the middle, spread it on the bunny’s bottom, and set it into the car. It will hold the peep better. Place a pretzel in front of him for the steering wheel. Just dig it right in.
Open the Mini Oreos and scrape out the frosting. My boys ate all the extras! (Insert eye roll here.) Then, add the Mini Oreos to the sides of the Twinkie with frosting.
Using the M&Ms as headlights is kind of cute, and adding them to the Twinkie’s front is also cute.
These Easter Twinkie bunny cars are a cinch to make. How easy was that? I loved adding these cars to my bunny houses, which I styled on my fun Easter Charcuterie Board. For Studio 5, if you want to see more fun Easter treats and decorating Ideas, here are some of my favorites…
