How to Make a Giant DIY Hershey’s Kiss for Valentine’s Day – A Sweet Surprise!
Valentine’s Day is the sweetest holiday to show your kids and “G-Babies” how much you love them. Here is the easiest, adorable gift you can make for or with your kids. This would be so fun for a school class, too.
🛠️ What You’ll Need:
- Plastic Funnel (4.6 inches in diameter is ideal)
- Candy (classic Hershey’s Kisses or any small candies you love)
- Optional Goodies: Small toys, gift cards, jewelry, or even a sweet note
- Shredded paper: best to get at a craft store or Amazon
- Plastic Wrap: Food wrap
- Aluminum Foil: About 1-2 feet.

✂️ Let’s Get Crafty: Step-by-Step Guide
1. Prep the Funnel
- Trim it off a hanging tab for a smooth finish. These from Amazon were perfect and came in a pack of 6.
- Place a handful of the shredded paper inside the funnel.
2. Fill It Up
- Pack the funnel with shredded paper, candy, small gifts, or anything fun!
- Be sure everything fits snugly to keep the funnel shape intact.
3. Secure the Contents
- Wrap the funnel and the contents in plastic wrap.
- Place the funnel on the plastic wrap so the bottom is covered; pull up the plastic wrap secure it around the top of the funnel and twist it closed.
4. Wrap it in Foil
- Lay out two pieces of aluminum foil in a cross shape.
- Center the funnel and wrap the foil tightly around it, shaping it into a Hershey’s Kiss.
- Smooth any wrinkles, trim the excess, and let the tag peek out the top.
5. Create the “KISSES” Tag
- Cut a one-inch strip of white paper and write “KISSES” (or your personalized message) with a blue marker.
- Roll one end to a point and tuck it into the funnel’s spout so it sticks out like the real thing.
