Modern sweet colors for Halloween and how to make a lolly

1. Get yourself a Martha Stewart envelope scoring tool.  It has saved me hours of time.  Score your paper in half an inch or 1-inch increments, depending on how thick and full you want your lolly.

2. fold your paper like  a paper fan and channel the inner kindergartner in you.  I like to do every other one then flip the paper over and do the opposite folds, it seems to work better and faster that way.

3. fold the lolly in half and glue, along the edges.  I usually use hot glue but tacky glue with binder clips works just as well.

4. Glue each half round onto each other and done.  if you need little tiny tinny ones. I just cut a 2 inch by 8-inch strip score in 1/4 inch increments and just fan out into a circle,  on the small ones hot glue is a must!

I used a lolly or fan folded strip that I made out of streamers and glued them on these little black crows from the dollar store.  It gives the scary holiday and new and almost cute appeal, they look darling on my little black crows like they are getting ready for a carnival and not a horror show.  Just give me a sweet Halloween and I’ll be happy.

Just take a closer look at my spray painted gold bones.  I absolutely love my unconventional Halloween deco this year.  I got cute little skeletons ( can I call skeletons cute?)  at the dollar store them ripped them apart, ( well that’s kinda creepy)  and sprayed them all gold.  I love being different and I love that it goes so well in my house.  I think no matter the holiday be creative and decorate in the colors of your house.  I’m dreaming of coral and brass for next year…..
