I love holidays, it doesn’t matter which one, they’re all fun, they all involve family, and they can all be made better with a little decor, am I right? when I was pregnant with my last child I was sooooo sick like yucky throw up sick (sorry) and I was getting out my fall decorations, all the dried leaves and orange and reds and browns. I looked at that stuff and all my orange Halloween stuff every day, and was sick every day. uughhh Needless to say that the next year I couldn’t even get it out I hated it so bad, so I threw it all away!! Even thinking about it now brings up sick feelings. Too this day I can’t do traditional fall colors. I know so sad right?
So here is my take on fall and Halloween decorations in my house. I like to take things from my craft room stash and make them into fun things that will be added to my Holiday décor.
I love my gold painted Ikea frame. I have had every holiday represented inside this chalkboard frame. This year I thought I’d hang something on it, instead of chalk a saying. I picked a little a cone that I made for Halloween, and I’m loving it.
These paper crafts I did last year and I can’t wait to add to them. I have two more stars to hang in my window. I will also have a cute tutorial on how to make a skeleton wand next week. so stay tuned. but to get you started here is a printable you can print out to hang over an existing photo. just use double stick tape and voila instant Deco!
