This carnival party was over the top, huge, and fantastic! I loved every minute of designing and putting together all the decorations for this party.
first I made this huge banner each lollie was 2 and a half feet across, they were ginormous! I then made a circle of poster board for the center and hot glued festooning around the edge. I printed out Happy Birthday in a cute circus font and glued those on. If I would have had more time I think i might have glittered them to add a little shine!
Then I made this #1. it started its life as a pinata a rainbow pinata at that!! I used coffee filters in ombre and glued until my hands were covered in blisters from the hot glue gun. but I loved how it turned out.
The food was amazing hey we are talking yummy carnival food. Ice cream from Idaho (the best Ive ever tasted, sorry BYU creamery) The treats and cookies were all orange and pink and in the cutest tin bins that I tied with every kind of darling ribbon I could get my hands on!!
The drinks were so yummy mango lemonade, raspberry lemonade and hey if you wanted to be simple she had just plain lemonade. But what put it over the top was the lemonade ice cubes with lemon slices inside. The details are where its all at!
B’s sister made these darling cookies. they are from her store in Alpine. Its in a gas station by the round about. called Num num confiteria. I’ve got to stop and get some more!
The signs were so much fun to do. just glues and taped onto PVC pipes. Tied ribbon to the top with a sparkly ball, its my favorite thing I did!
A giant sucker tree greeted all who entered and tickets and birthday pins were free to all!!!
ok I have to admit that I did sneak a bit of cotton candy, Oh who am I kidding I ate like three of these. I have know idea why I like cotton candy, maybe its the strawberry flavor, maybe its the fluffiness, or the straight shot of sugar to my system, I don’t know I just love it!
Again the ilili banner was so fun to do! those wood letters were heavy and we had to tie the polls to the fence. and at one point a letter fell off. but a chair and my glue gun had it fixed before too many people noticed.
I just love all the ideas! Thanks for posting so many pictures. AND it's my favorite colors too!
