Isn’t this bride the most beautiful? This boho wedding has a special place in my heart. You see this little darling lost her mama last year and had to plan this wedding herself. She had help from her fabulous sister and her incredible aunts. I truly love this girl as if she were my own so I wanted to make sure this wedding was everything she dreamed it would be.
I loved that her cake was made by her new sister in law! This poppy seed naked cake was just as yummy as it was pretty. The desk and macrame backdrop was just what this outdoor park wedding needed to give it the relaxed vibe that she wanted. Its so easy to look around your house and bring a few darling pieces to make your wedding a bit more special. Using your own furniture or renting a few wonderful pieces truly brings a feeling of fun and elegance that can be hard come by in outdoor spaceses.
I’m in love with the relationship timelines that are popping up at weddings. Its fun to see when the couple met when and where they had their first kiss, and what happened in between. This darling chalk board was done by her cute friend @maeseacreativity this dear friend did all the cute Instagram sings and welcome signs. You should check out her Etsy shop.
I will always ask the bride what is a nonnegotiable item at her wedding. (something she has to have no matter what!) And this Brides answer was sunflowers. Its her favorite flower and she had to have them no matter what! The florist added just enough sunflowers to her bouquet and flowers to add charm and a happy vibe to this boho wedding. Cynthia was wonderful to work with and a very talented florist. go peek at her Instagram @caleagunther
When the budget is tight its good to make a few things to add to the beauty of the centerpieces or venue. I made these chunky candle sticks to mix with the glass, white, greenery and wood accents together it all blended beautifully. When doing centerpieces look for texture and finishes, Wood with glass, mat runners with sparkly votives. Is easy to get carried away but if you keep it all neutral than it will be a happy mixture of perfection.
Ok this was my absolute favorite piece of decor that I did! This macrame backdrop was incredible. I added it to a birch arch and then had the florist add a flower swag. It was all very boho, cool, and modern at the same time. I would love to hang this in the trees at a wedding in the forest, can you imagine how beautiful?
In the end we used a million lanterns with glowing candles, vintage tomato crates and modern furniture as gift tables and sign in tables to make this eclectic look come together. By limiting the colors to a touch of yellow, greenery, wood and white everything matched and was just as dreamy in real life as it was in my head. I hope that these two darling kids have a beautiful life full of adventure beauty and love!
