Where to find great Memory Jewelry

I have grown up wearing jewelry,  I remember I had a plastic set with a tiara and plastic glittery shoes.  I loved dressing up and feeling pretty, and the more bling I had the prettier I felt. As I got older and wiser I decided that i loved my jewelry that had special meaning.  I would go for my watch that my dad gave me from graduating Jr. High.  I would love to wear the bracelet that  had charms from my dad mission in England.  After i was married its the special jewelry that my husband would give me that I loved best memory jewelry as I liked to call it.

Memory jewelry doesn’t need to be diamond and pearls, although I’m not going to complain if I  get a few of those!  LOL  instead memory jewelry is a piece that remind you of some happy time.  It makes you think of your sister or a favorite trip.  On my Instagram I’m always posting about Cents of Style they have the best collection of inexpensive word jewelry,  Words are always a plus at creating a memory.

I also love little charms.  recently I received the sweetest pineapple necklace from hitidehawaii.  I found her when I was looking for fun artwork in my office.  She just happened to have some other fun things that I fell in love with. This little pineapple necklace is one of them.  I lived in Hawaii back in the day, I went to school at BYU Hawaii, and since then I’ve only been back once.  We are trying to do my sons Sr. trip to O’ahu this summer so who knows I might make it back again, but until then this little pineapple will keep me happy and dreaming of the beaches in Hawaii. I’m also a bracelet wearer (is that a word?)  and I love my Alex and Ani bracelets they each mean something to me and remind me of the giver or of that time in my life.  I love mixing them together gold and silver with a watch. While I’m on the subject of watches I adore them.  I have 10 and use them like jewelry, don’t tell but some of them don’t even tell time. LOL  If you like this watch the post for it is HERE

You don’t have to spend much to create a collection of meaningful jewelry.  Just like your grandmas box of costume jewelry these pieces will be just as cherished and have wonderful stories attached as well.
