I love my hubby, he does so much for our family and I so want to spoil him for Fathers day, but what do I give a guy who means the whole world to me and my kids? I’ve come up with some unique gifts for Fathers day, so the struggle is over! Your welcome. Here is my top 5, Unique gifts for Fathers Day. Every dad and hubby is different so a tie just might not cut it this year. I want to do something fun and unique something that not every mom is doing, lets get this party started.
My hubby served a mission in England when he was 19. Yup a million years ago he was young and adventurous, I thought how fun would it be to give him a set of the Architectural Lego’s. Lego has the most amazing destination locations and world attractions. I loved this Lego set with all the London iconic sites. I just know that every time he sees this set on the shelf he will think of me, his time in England and hopefully how we can go visit there soon! hum wouldn’t that be nice. I also think giving a gift of Lego’s is also giving him time with his boys, I know the boys will want to help him put it together and when that happens there is bound to be laughing, stories of his time in London, and fun.
Who’s hubby doesn’t love technology? I wish I could spoil him with a new mac computer but that is not in the budget. But what about the Amazon echo home gadget? Its so cool it would be like giving him a personal assistant. Ok well not just like a personal assistant I mean it can’t run our errands for us, but it sure can do a lot of fun things. Control the air conditioner, play music and help the kids with math! Its around 174$ at Target or on Amazon. If you want a cheaper version try the Amazon Dot, I mean who can say they got a personal assistant for Fathers day. Just ask Alexa!
My hubby loves to barbecue. I’m not sure that is a Unique Fathers day gift, but go with me , it means I get a night off from cooking so really this gift is a win win for both of us! I thought getting him some Barbecue sauces might just inspire him to barbecue more often, and it might get him to try new recipes. I loved this sauce set from Amazon it looked yummy and is something that he can’t find our local grocery store, so it makes it a bit more special. If you wanted to use his favorite sauce from the grocery store that would be fine too but wrap it up supper cute….. ok manly in a craft box or use a home depot 5 gallon bucket to make it feel special.
While we are on the subject of barbecuing, my hubby loves smoking his meat even more. I’m not a big fan of smoked meat so I do try to discourage him and will use fancy sauces above to distract him. LOL I guess when hes got time on the weekends and wants smoked ribs to eat while he watches the game, he could use this book Franklin Barbecue, a Meat smoking manifesto. Sound like serious reading. I do have a slight addition to cookbooks so this would fit nicely into the bookshelf of 50 plus cook books, however this one might get used for its recipes and not just for my weird addition to just reading the recipes.
I love watches and I think my hubby does too. I love the look of these wood Jord watches. I own one and I’m so in love with it. Its light and I get tons of complements on it. So I thought why not get one for my Hubby? While I was looking at them on line my 18 year old son was begging for one. LOL ummm is there such thing as a kid day? I told him to wait till his birthday and we will see. You really should go check them out they have a ton of fun styles to choose from. bonus gift because your hubby’s favorite thing in the whole wide world is his family so give him the gift of you. Ok not you he already has that, but a photo of the family, to remind him of how lucky he is! If you have taken one in the past year or just have a great candid photo then print it out for him to have on his desk. If you’ve read my Valentines for him post you might have already done this, If you haven’t you need to!!! Take your photo and have it printed on metal. You heard me right, metal. It looks so cool and your honey will love it. It comes with a stand so no frame is needed and its a manly sort of thing to have on his desk. Beside who doesn’t want their man looking and thinking of them all day. Grandpas would go gaga over this as well. Gather the cousins cause this would be a treasure.
