New way to use ice cream cups from Amazon
I love ice cream and I love cute ice cream cups more!! Its such a fun way to eat ice cream. Its not the only thing you do with these cups. I’m going to show you 3 cute projects you can make with ice cream cups. BTW I got these darling little cups from Amazon they have so many styles The floral ones (not shone) are my favorite check them out HERE
Idea number 1
The first is the most obvious is food. Who says you have to only eat ice cream out of these cute little cups. I love putting fruit in mine when I’m having a backyard party or bar-b-q. Its such an easy and cute way to add color to the table. Its so much easier to eat fruit out of a cup than it is to eat it off a plate, am i right? Potato salad, pasta salads, mini rice bowls the list is endless. Remember this vintage circus shower I did for my daughter in-law? Click HERE to see it again. I also like using these cups as candy holders. I feel like i can monitor the portions better this way during a party or gathering.
Idea number 2
You know that I’m kinda crafty, so I loved the idea of making a game out of the cups. I thought skeet-ball might be fun but it was just out of my skill set. LOL here is how I made this,
a. Tape the cups together with clear packing tape to create two towers. Cut out circles of paper to fit in the cups,
b. Write your point values on the papers and tape them inside the cups. Grab a ping pong ball and try to get as many points as you can in one min!
Idea number 3
The last one is my favorite. these ice cream cups make the perfect treat container that the kids can take home after a party or shower. This is a darling way to present those little gifts. Just get a square of tissue paper and some cute ribbon and your ready to roll. You might want to add the tag just so the kiddies know to punch the top for their prize. Here is how I made this.
a. measure around the top of the cup about 1 1/2 inch’s out from the edge of the cup. and cut with cute scalloped scissors.
b. Tie a cute bow or tag to a long piece of ribbon that will fit around the cup and have enough to tie a knot in the back of the cup.
c. Fill your cup with treats and run a bead of hot glue around the edge of the cup and top with the tissue paper. Then tie the ribbon around the tissue paper to hold the edges down and make it look cute. When the kids want their treat they can punch a hole in the top and dig in. Kind of a fun novelty for a party favor.
