 The True meaning of Christmas
I love Christmas time. I love being with family, I love decorating, and parties.  I just love all the sparkle and shine!  this year our family is doing a service advent calendar It was put together by our church and has the most amazing activities that focus on Christ and the true meaning of Christmas.  When I asked my kids what there favorite thing was about last Christmas they named off things like going to a Christmas concert, Driving through Thanksgiving point to see the lights and Sleeping over down town on Dec 23rd, our Christmas jar.   I thought weird none of it had to do with the presents, they couldn’t even remember what they got. So this year with the help of this advent calendar See it HERE  we are going to have a very meaningful Christmas.

This year we will  do more meaningful things.  Yes concerts are so expensive and so is the Luminara down at Thanksgiving point, but these are the things the kids remember so I’m going to spend most of our Christmas money on memories and not so much on the presents. Santa will come but its so interesting that my boys remember the most important things about this time of year,  family, friends service and loving our neighbors.  We will try to do one act of service or kindness a day and we will read uplifting scriptures about Christ and how we should live our lives!  I hope that you can find peace in the hustle and bustle of the season and truly find the magic of peace this CHRISTmas.
