The weather in Utah during spring is well…..sigh…. its warm one day and then snowy the next, seriously you would think spring would be more consistent! But on the bright side I get to organize on snowy days and that makes me feel accomplished! So let me show you my spring craft room organization that I did a few days ago.
Close to my heart sent me their fabulous paper and stamp organizing system, seeing that I organize for a living they thought I might like them!! UMMM can you say Yes times a thousand! I’m in love and thanks from the bottom of my heart!
I’m not a stamper, yet…. But I do have some stamp pads and stamps, I think if I left them out I would play with them more. So I decided to put them on an open shelf in my craft room, what do you think? I love the color they bring to my open shelves and the easy access to my pens and stamps. The clean lines of the pen holder (one on the right) works much better than the gray one my Tombo pens are in, and let me tell you why? The gray pen holder comes apart into pieces and every time I move it, it seems to fall apart. The Creative memories pen holder is one solid piece of deligtfulness, besides being quite heavy so there is no fear of knocking them over. I’m thinking I need to get a few more of the CTMH ones!
I also have a lot of tag making supplies and I’m always running into my office to grab a tag for a treat, or birthday. All my supplies were in a drawer but I couldn’t seem to ever find what I was looking for. I loved creating a tag station in one of my closets in my office. You could also do this on your desk as well. I love how sturdy these organizers are. These days everything is made soooooo cheap. These organizers are heavy and sturdy and stack like a dream. I bet you could go pretty high on your desk with these.
The last way I used them was in my drawer for my planner supplies. I love having things horizontal so I can just thumb through them and find what I”m looking for as I stand above the drawer. I also have some of the paper organizers vertical (below) and love that I can access the paper quicker than my other organizers that I have to pull forward so I can get to the paper. By placing the top organizer against the side of the cabinet I didn’t have to worry about it not having a top.
Below is a closer look at how the small tag organizers hold all my planner quotes and small papers. I did have to put a couple of rolled up pieces of wire ribbon in the bottom so that my tags could poke out a little higher. I can flip through them easier when they were a bit taller. (an easy fix see the yellow?) I have these small organizers in my bedroom in my night stand, so that I can work on my planner at least once a week.
If you want a few of these fabulous organizers just pop on over to Close to My Harts web page. Ok peeps that’s just a peek at the organization that is going on over here hope to show you more soon!
